RAF - Chronology of the Terrorist Organization 1968-1998

The group around Andreas Baader and Ulrike Meinhof, which came to prominence as the Frankfurt department store arsonists, decided on the armed struggle against the "imperialist system" with the violent liberation of Baader on May 14, 1970, and gave itself the name "Red Army Faction". Three RAF generations are responsible for 34 murders, numerous bank robberies and explosive attacks. In1998 , the RAF announced its self-dissolution.
